(The short story that has made over 70 people faint)
This short story is gory as fuck and so epic. God I love Palahniuk so much. Favorite Author by miles. MILES.
DEAR GOD WHAT THE FUCK
Couple things:
1) I was hungry before I read this, now I feel physically ill.
2) If I was male, I would never masturbate again.……………
i read this somewhere before but i didn’t know palahniuk wrote it :o
/read it again for funsies
JESUS CHRIST
Oh wow. Only read this if you are not easily grossed out. 0______o
I love you Chuck Palahniuk
YOU GUYS ARE SUCK WEAKLINGS READ THIS SHIT WITHOUT FLINCHING
I love this story.
I read this story in Borders because I was reading about people puking and passing out and whatnot. When I finished, I was kind of disappointed. The story was great but passing out? Vomiting? Nahhhh.
I mean, its pretty gross, but that’s just Palahniuk’s thing. Whether you read Fight Club or Haunted or Snuff (that was some really fucked up shit), he’s just trying to squick you out. It’s all for the shock factor, IMO, and once you figure that out you’re a lot less affected by his books.
Apparently spending your teen years reading goth fiction makes one immune, “eh, I read Exquisite Corpse, this isn’t so bad…”
I remember reading Exquisite Corpse. I’ve read some violent, nasty horror too. That stuff just doesn’t bother me. *shrug* I recognize that it’s kinda fucked up (like Guts, Haunted, Snuff, etc) but I never get grossed out. Even horror movies don’t gross me out. I’m disappointed when they aren’t as gory or gross as I was expecting them to be. For some reason, that makes people think that I’m secretly a serial killer or something…especially when I tell them that I want to be an autopsy assistant.
Wasn’t that bad o_O
I kinda thought it was funny…I want to know what ever happened with the carrot.
Read this in my horror fiction class. Such a good book.
its funny because it was published in playboy. the poor boners that died after reading this…
I thought this was going to be a horror story It’s just gross
I have the book in which it was published.
Disappointment City. Population: Me. That’s such an old tale. I heard that back in sixth grade.
This story didn’t bother me at all the first time I read it.
Oh my god is this the one with the pool and the intestines? Because that fucking scarred me for life. I ain’t even...
Reblogging this again in hopes that more people will see it and read it. I LOVE IT.
Fucking love this guy. Fuck.

Ugh I can’t decide if I want to read more or if I should just stop.

This was the first Chuck Palahniuk story I read (even before Invisible Monsters). I was 14 when I read it, how the hell...
I remember my friend Lauren sent that short story to me when we were in middle school… very interesting stuff… >_>
Had it read to me a few years ago. Never. Again.
